Elizabeth caddy Stanton The Woman’s bible

Elizabeth caddy Stanton was an activist that time, she struggled for the woman’s life, and she thought that discrimination of woman had to clear and she also thought the level woman and man was equivalent. There were no stronger and so on.

Elizabeth also was a religious woman, she analyzed the article of a bible related to the woman’s life, and finally she found the article and she tried to critic/analyze and than make a result from that article. (Genesis 26, 27, 28)

She wasn’t disagreeing with that bible’s article, of because it seems that the article made the woman’s life put into corner. She has had opinion that the bible is written by man, that’s why she had to do improvement.

From that moment Elizabeth Cady Stanton wanted to change the woman’s life by impressing a new era in early 1888, as we known this time called feminism. The most important thing in feminism is to fighting for the equivalent degree between woman and man.

Edgar Allan Poe poems Alone

From childhood’s hour I have not been

As others were; I have not seen

As others saw; I could not bring

My passions from a common spring

As the poem about we can judge that Edgar was writing about himself when he was young, the writer wouldn’t to write anything he didn’t know, in the poems above told that there were a young boy who lived in loneliness, the writer want to show his experience to the reader.

If we want to analyze the poem with structural we can look to the first text from childhood’s hour I have not been. It’s so weird in a word “hour “. I think it’s same with time.

Walt Whitman leaves of grass

Leaves of grass was one of the epic poetry from Walt Whitman, the biggest poem ever we known till now where we can know the American situation from Walt Whitman poetry. Especially in song’s of my life.

“I celebrate myself, and sing myself, and what I assume you shall assume, for every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you. “

From the text above, can you find any idea to describe what the purposed of that poetry? I celebrate for what? And what song that Walt was singing? This is very ambiguity, but the history of song’s of my life was he himself. He wanted to split up his happiness to the public especially for people of American. It’s proofed at the last word what I assume you shall assume. I was happy and so you are. Song’s of my life became a new inspiration at that time.

Emily Dickinson Going to the heaven.

 GOING to heaven!

I don’t know when,

Pray do not ask me how,–

Indeed, I’m too astonished

To think of answering you!

Going to heaven!–

How dim it sounds!

And yet it will be done

As sure as flocks go home at night

Unto the shepherd’s arm!

Perhaps you’re going too!

Who knows?

If you should get there first,

Save just a little place for me

Close to the two I lost!

The smallest “robe” will fit me,

And just a bit of “crown”;

For you know we do not mind our dress

When we are going home

I’m glad I don’t believe it,

For it would stop my breath,

And I’d like to look a little more

At such a curious earth!

I am glad they did believe it

Whom I have never found

Since the mighty autumn afternoon

I left them in the ground.

Its sound so strange I ever heard, the lyric made me fear and want to know why Emily Dickinson written this poetry? Emily was thinking about the death.
